KidxLiz: Clarity When Liz had fantasized over how she and Kid would get together, it was always on a boat or in a fancy restaurant late at night, with music playing softly in the background and nobody else around. She imagined him so close to her, looking into her eyes with the love and compassion she had only seen when he was looking at something with perfect symmetry.
She had never imagined, even for a moment, that it would be like this.
And if she had, she wouldn’t have wanted it to happen.
All she wanted to do was run and run and never, ever come back.
“I know that you knew that I wanted to ask you! So what if it didn’t happen when you thought it should, or how you thought it should! I can’t believe you had Maka guilt me into it before I was ready! Disgusting. That’s disgusting and unfair, and if I had had any idea you were behind it I
FioLee: Fireflies Chapter 1Darkness was encompassing the land of Aaa, filling its colorful landscape with shadows and transforming it into a monotone mass of grays, blacks, and blues; save for the sky which was bursting with pinks and reds, the sun giving one final show before slipping beyond the horizon and leaving the world in the hands of the iridescent moon. Fionna trudged slowly home, lost in a hurricane of confused thoughts and emotions, hardly noticing as the sun disappeared, leaving Aaa's occupants to their own devices until its glorious reappearance. In the darkness, the land became still and the daytime sounds disappeared, fading into a melodious background for the drama in the heroine's head.
She was returning from an errand for Prince Gumball, one which had taken days of travel and required slaying several monsters along the way. She had of course been glad to do it; she was the heroine of Aaa after all, the protector of the Princes. And yet
Somehow, this time, she had hesitated. Her usual driv
Black StarXTsubaki: Beside YouThe hallway was packed with students; meisters and weapons huddled in pairs, discussing their next mission; groups of friends laughing boisterously as they made their way to class; teachers watching with faint interest, lecture notes in hand. Maka cursed under her breath, checking her watch for the umpteenth time that minute, wondering where Tsubaki was. Normally she wouldn't have minded, but this was Tsubaki, the ever present, completely reliable, habitually on time, Tsubaki. And yet, somehow, she was ten minutes late, which could only mean one thing: Black Star. The never present, completely unreliable, habitually late, Black Star. She could see their souls, but it still didn't make any sense to her how their partnership worked, not in the slightest.
Unlike hers and Soul's She smiled, and felt herself blush. Soul. It had been a year, and she still couldn't quite wrap her mind around the fact that they were together, that he
Destiny's Dance VHermione turned away from Draco in time to catch Luna's chast kiss on Neville's cheek. She squeeled internally, happy for her friends. Her happiness was replaced quickly, however, by a sharp stab of guilt. Draco obviously was hoping to go to the dance with her, but she was leaving him hanging. And Ron, because of this, was no longer speaking to her. Whatever she did she was going to hurt someone, and that was the last thing she wanted to do.
Walking back to the common room, she tried to think of a way to handle this without making the situation worse. Unable to come up with anything she decided to talk to Ginny about it, Hope quickening her pace. Bursting in through the portal she searched for Ginny and spotted her sitting alone in an arm chair looking incredibly disgruntled. "Has she talked to Ron?" Hermione wondered, her stomache twisting with another dose of guilt. Steeling herself for a lecture she walked slowly up to her, unsure of how to handle the situation.
"What do you want, H
Destiny's Dance III"Luna, what did Malfoy want?" Hermione asked curiously, having just watched their bizarre conversation from the doorway of the Great Hall, where she'd been waiting for her friend.
"Oh, you know, just stopped to talk for a moment." Luna said nonchalantly, slipping between the doors that were separating her from her long awaited breakfast. "That French toast looks wonderful, doesn't it? I'm so hungry I could eat a Crumple Horned Snorflack," Luna sighed, massaging her empty stomach. "I was up all night looking for these earrings," she grinned, holding them up triumphantly for Hermione to see.
"Those are very nice, Luna," Hermione smiled half heartedly, wondering why she hadn't told her what she and Malfoy had been talking about. Luna was always honest, sometimes to the extent that it was a little embarrassing especially when you asked her questions that you would prefer being lied to about, like if you looked ok on a day that your hair refused to behave. But this was much more impor
HP: Destiny's Dance IThe potions classroom was full of muttering and disappointed sighs, which were interrupted by sudden outbursts of, "Oh, Honestly Harry!", and 'If the Professor knew you could get expelled!"
"Will you shut it, Hermione?" Harry snapped, pocketing a bag of sugar quills that he'd just been awarded by Slughorn for making a nearly perfect Love Potion.
"No! It's not right, you getting perfect marks for cheating!"
"Blimey, Hermione, you'd be doing the same if you'd gotten that book, and don't say you wouldn't," Ron sighed in exasperation, tired of going through this every day. As Hermione opened her mouth to reply, Professor Slughorn clapped his hands, silencing the room.
"Well, as I'm sure you all know, my Birthday is approaching," he smiled, ignoring the surprised and guilty looks being exchanged between the students. "So rather than throwing myself a party, I've had so many, I've decided to give the 5th, 6th, and 7th years a dance!"
A few girls giggled and most of the boys groaned, re
greek MythLong ago the earth was ruled by the Gods, threatened by monsters, and defended by heroes. The king of the Gods was Zeus, the lord of light and the sky, who ruled over all of the mortals and was the highest power in the court of the Gods. His power was undisputed during this time, although there was usually someone out to steal his throne from under him. During this time of peace he became lazy and proud, positive that nobody was going to attempt to dethrone him, and spent his time with his wife Hera, the queen of Mount Olympus, instead of defending his domain.
The mother of the Gods, Gaea, became irritated with her son's behavior and decided to create another God to steal his throne and teach him a lesson. However, when she gave birth, she saw to her dismay that it was not a God but a Goddess that she had created. She had been born in a meteor shower, her long black hair and silver eyes glittering with stardust and her skin a ghostly white in the full moon. She feared that h
"Mother, please don't make me go, I have nothing to wear and besides I'll be bored out of my skull," I said as I rummaged through my closet in a last ditch effort to try and find something ‘nice’, just in case she insisted that I go to this confounded party. It was just going to be adults, sitting around getting tipsy, and talking about nothing that interested me, sigh! I heard my mother's stern voice from a distance somewhere from within the house "Get ready and I don't want to hear another word about it!" she screamed back.
An hour later, we drove in silence to a friend of my mothers home, that she had known since childhood, who was giving a dinner party reunion at a rented hall down a long driveway and across the road from where she lived. We were greeted then lead into her formal sitting room, where the fireplace was lit and her old 'pug' dog was stretched out in a fitful sleep, snorting and writhing about, like it was chasing some feral cat.
AnchorOnce upon a time a little girl was born.
The little girl lived a safe life in a little town, in a wonderful house with a big garden and a happy family.
She was innocent, she was happy. She looked upon the world with curiosity and always asked many questions. Interested in all.
The world was beautiful, and she was happy. And she was quite certain, it would always be that way.
Her life was amazing - why shouldn't she be happy?
Once upon a time a little girl went to school.
She still lived in the same little town, in the same house with the same garden with her family.
She was still innocent and happy... yet, every now and then something would happen to ever so slightly put down that happiness.
The older kids bugged her a bit, the same did some of the other kids. She didn't understand why.
Yet, life was still good, and she easily brushed it off. She had no reason to not be happy.
Once upon time a little girl believed in the good of the world.
She knew evil existed, had seen it happen seve

If this is Hell.[If this is hell; a SebasCiel short story.]
Sebastian grumbled groggily as he awoke, his crimson eyes slowly but surely opening to access his surroundings. As he did so, he began to attempt recalling the previous occurrences that led up to this dilemma, but found that he drew a complete and utter blank in his mind.
What the hell happened? The raven haired demon pulled the small, rounded watch out of his suit's pocket and gently flipped it open to reveal the time of day, which read midnight exactly. This, of course, could not be correct, for all he could recall from the previous day was awakening his Young Master and preparing him for the day ahead. What could have happened within that time and now that he couldn't remember?
As his eyes began to adjust to the almost blindingly bright scenery, the man realized what kind of a situation he truly was in. And to his fear, it was not a good one.
The room was white, without a single drop of any other colour to be seen. As for doors or windows?

Goodbye Long HairDear Long Hair,
What we had was great. But then things started to split and our relationship became a love hate one. Sometimes you'd cooperate and make me feel pretty good about myself. Other times you weren't there like I needed you…Sure you were there but it wasn't like the real you, the good you. Sometimes you just wouldn't decide what you wanted to do with yourself which was hard for me. And I'm sorry that I would pull at you and threaten you, I never wanted to hurt you. I admit, I should have taken better care of you. Life with you was so wishy-washy though and as much as I could love you (at times)it just became a hassle to deal with you. So I let you go, I cut you from my life as cute and wonderful as you may be I had to move on and find something new. I do miss you though especially when I look at old photos. I can get kinda jealous. But then I think "no, I can only see the good things in these photos... these pictures don't show the countless hours of effort I put in and
Snipe Hunting Chapter 2Chapter #2
Struggling to walk through the tangle of roots and leaves, we followed my dad through the woods. Tripping and stumbling we still managed to somehow continue banging the sticks together and scream as loud as possible, propelled foreward by the thought of seeing one of the mysterious snipes.
I turned towards Misty and whispered tentively, "Do you really think that we'll see one? I think he might be lying..."
She snorted,"Yeah, he's probably making this up."
"Should we stop?"
"Naw, let's go along with it."
and with that we stumbled off after the mad procession, unsure of what we would see that night...
